Hi Guys,
If you have a Lenovo laptop, please treat this as CRITICAL.
Researchers at ESET security have discovered a massive security hole in Lenovo’s range of laptops that, if exploited, could allow an attacker to take control of the firmware on a target device. Once in control of firmware, they can do anything they want. Firmware is very low-level software that runs underneath your operating system. It is machine code that essentially tells your computer hardware what to do. Without firmware, your computer will not even know it’s a computer.
Lenovo was really quick to respond, and they issued emergency updates for nearly 100 affected models. Please stop what you are doing and go HERE to download the updates for your firmware. Your system is incredibly vulnerable without it.
Thanks, and please share with anyone you know who owns a Lenovo laptop.
All the best,
Max Roberts,
