Hi Guys,
Google has just released another massive security update for their Chrome web browser that fixes several holes that are actively under attack. I am beginning to sound like a broken record here but this means that remote attackers could gain control of your system if you do not update to the latest version.
Please update Chrome to the latest version (100.0.4896.60) for Windows, Mac, and Linux by following these steps:
- Open Chrome
- At the top right, click More
- Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you can’t find this button, you’re on the latest version.
- Click Relaunch.
If I were you I would start using a second more secure browser for high-risk tasks like connecting to your bank account. Take a look at Brave, Firefox, or DuckDuckGo. They offer the same functionality and are far more secure.
Let me know if you need any help with this or with anything else.
Thanks,
Max Roberts,
Incognito Privacy Care Team.
