Hi guys,
Google Chrome has a massive security hole which currently affects more than 2 billion users around the world. Imperva Red, a cyber security outfit, recently discovered this flaw, which, if exploited, could allow remote attackers to steal passwords from your device and your bitcoin wallet.
To be wholly protected, ensure you are running Google Chrome version 108.
Follow these instructions on how to update chrome, and please pass this tip on to anybody you know who uses this browser.
- Open Chrome
- At the top right, click More
- Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you can’t find this button, you’re on the latest version
- Click Relaunch
I know I’ve said this in the past, but I strongly suggest you not use the Google Chrome browser. While it is one of the most popular browsers in the world is also one of the most targeted browsers in the world. It would be best if you looked at using a browser like Firefox, Brave or TOR browser.
Let me know if you need help with this, and I’ll talk to you soon.
All the best,
Max Roberts
