Google has rolled out an emergency out-of-band patch for an actively exploited zero-day vulnerability in the Chrome web browser. The flaw could allow attackers to cause a system crash or execute potentially malicious code on your device, so if you are a user of Google Chrome, please stop what you are doing and get the update now. You want to ensure you are running version 108.0.5359.94 for Mac and Linux and version 108.0.5359.94/.95 for Windows.
Follow these instructions:
- Open Chrome
- At the top right, click More
- Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you can’t find this button, you’re on the latest version
- Click Relaunch
Let me know if you need help with this or anything else.
All the best,
Incognito Privacy Care Team.
