Hi Guys,
I hope you are well 🙂
Facebook has silently rolled out a tool that allows users to remove their contact information, such as phone numbers and email addresses, that others have uploaded. This page is almost impossible to find as it is buried in a help file on their website and applies to non-Facebook users and existing users.
As explained by Facebook:
“Someone may have uploaded their address book to Facebook, Messenger, or Instagram with your contact information. You can ask us to confirm whether we have your phone number or email address.
If we do, you can request that we delete it from our address book database. To prevent it from being uploaded to this database again through someone’s address book, we need to keep a copy in our block list.
If you’d like us to delete and block more than one type of contact information, we need to confirm each separately.”
It is well worth a check, and if there is anything that you do not like, it is easy to have it removed.
Follow this link HERE, and you can start the process.
Let me know if you have any problems.
All the best,
Max Roberts,
