Hello everyone!

Although not about security or privacy, here’s a valuable tip that might save you some money, especially if you’re into travel. Have you ever noticed how the price of a flight or train ticket seems to rise after you’ve checked it once? Often, it’s not a coincidence. Many travel and airline companies use cookies to track your browsing habits. So, when they see you returning to a flight or train route you previously showed interest in, they might hike the price, betting on your increased interest. Crafty, right?

Luckily, there’s a workaround. By managing and clearing your browser cookies, these companies will treat each visit as a first-time inquiry, potentially showing you lower prices. So, the next time you’re scouting for travel deals or car rentals, clear your browser cookies before and after your search. This way, you present yourself as a ‘new’ customer each time.

Just follow the instructions below to clear your cookies and stay ahead of the game.

Let me know if you need any assistance.

All the best,

Max
