Here is a peculiar one. A ‘cursed’ video clip on YouTube of the 1979 sci-fi/horror masterpiece, Alien is crashing pixel smartphones without warning. All you need to do is watch the clip, and your phone will reboot and could cause permanent damage. If anybody sends you a YouTube clip from the movie Alien, do not open it, as it could cause damage to your phone.
I will not post the link to the YouTube clip here as I do not want to harm your phone. It is extraordinary that a YouTube clip can cause a smartphone to crash, for the device to reboot, and for the cellular service to be disconnected completely. It reminds me of the Janet Jackson song crashing windows computers several months ago. You can read that article here.
