Hi Guys,
If you are running Android 13, there is a great security feature called ‘Suspicious Message Alerts’ that, when turned on, will warn you when a message you receive is similar to messages that were used to steal personal information. This feature will detect any suspicious links sent to your phone so that you are not fooled into clicking them and getting scammed.
The alerts work across all messaging tools, from a standard text message to WhatsApp and even email messages. From what we can tell, the system works well, but I would also recommend that you continue using Incognito Web Checker.
How to turn on suspicious message alerts
You can turn suspicious message alerts on and off anytime in Settings:
- Open your device’s Settings app.
- Tap Security
- Tap Advanced settings
- Tap Suspicious message alerts
- Slide to ON
Let me know if you need help with this or anything else.
All the very best,
Max Roberts,
Incognito Privacy Care Team.
