Hi guys,
I hope you are well and that life is great :-).
Today, I want to show you how to delete the browsing history for all of the main web browsers available for your Android device. When you browse the Internet all of the web pages that you visit are recorded, as well as all of the search terms that you use to search the Internet. You would be surprised at just how much information is collected when you browse the Internet.
Now, most people do not mind if their Internet history is stored on their device, but in some cases, you may want to delete it or you may want to control it. Please follow the simple instructions on how to access the Internet history for each of the main web browsers as well as instructions on how to clear your Internet history.
Google Chrome:
- Open Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select “History.”
- Tap “Clear browsing data.”
- Choose the time range you want to clear (e.g., “Last hour,” “Last 24 hours,” “All time”).
- Select the types of data you want to clear (e.g., browsing history, cookies, cached images/files).
- Tap “Clear data.”
Mozilla Firefox:
- Open Firefox.
- Tap the three-line menu icon (≡) in the top-right corner.
- Select “Settings.”
- Scroll down and tap “Privacy.”
- Tap “Clear private data.”
- Choose the types of data you want to clear (e.g., browsing history, cookies, cache).
- Tap “Clear data.”
Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Tap the three-dot menu icon (…) in the bottom-right corner.
- Select “Settings.”
- Tap “Privacy, search, and services.”
- Under “Clear browsing data,” tap “Choose what to clear.”
- Select the types of data you want to clear (e.g., browsing history, cookies, cached data).
- Tap “Clear.”
Samsung Internet:
- Open Samsung Internet.
- Tap the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the bottom-right corner.
- Select “Settings.”
- Scroll down and tap “Privacy.”
- Tap “Delete browsing data.”
- Choose the types of data you want to clear (e.g., browsing history, cookies, cache).
- Tap “Delete.”
Remember that the menu labels and options might vary slightly based on browser updates and Android versions. Also, clearing your browsing history will remove your search history, cookies, and cached data, which may affect how websites and services behave. Always double-check your selections before clearing data.
As always, let me know if you need any assistance with this or with anything else.
Sending you all the best,
Max Roberts
