Hi everyone,

I want to take a moment to urge you to keep your children away from apps like TikTok. Every day, young kids around the world are participating in dangerous, life-threatening challenges that are circulating on the platform—some of which have led to tragic deaths. The latest wave of fatalities is linked to the “blackout challenge,” where children film themselves losing consciousness. It’s heartbreaking.

Instead of engaging with the real world, many kids are becoming hopelessly addicted to social media, chasing approval from strangers they will never meet. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—TikTok is not a safe app. While all social media platforms can be harmful, TikTok stands out as particularly dangerous. At best, it’s a tool for data collection and manipulation. At worst, it’s enabling dark and destructive behavior among young people.

If you’re worried about your child’s screen time and social media use, here are a few things you can do:

  • Monitor their device activity—Know what apps they have installed and how much time they’re spending on them.
  • Talk openly about online risks—Explain the dangers of social media challenges and viral trends.
  • Encourage healthier habits—Get them involved in real-world activities that don’t involve a screen.
  • Use parental controls—Limit or block access to certain apps through built-in settings or third-party tools.

If you need advice on how to protect your child online, feel free to reach out. When your child is glued to their phone, you don’t always know what they’re being exposed to, and unfortunately, some of it is downright evil. Be aware, be vigilant, and take action

Please contact me if I can help you in anyway.
