ALERT: Global Netflix Scam

December 5, 2019

Hi Guys,

We have received several emails to our Privacy Care Support desk over the past couple of days about a very convincing  Netflix scam that is doing the rounds on the Internet and so far many people have been tricked by it.

Essentially the scammers send you an email telling you that there is a payment problem with your account and when you click on the link in the email you are taken to a very convincing looking Netflix page where you are asked to resubmit you credit card details. Once you enter your card details the scammers will be be able to access your credit card.

Please watch out for an emails from Netflix about an 'Account Freeze'. The chances are you have already received it. Please delete it straight away and if in doubt contact Netflix directly. Never enter your bank details unless you are 100% sure. You can use the Incognito Link Checker to check a link before clicking it as well. Also please send the mail to us if you are not sure and we can check it for you.

Thanks and talk soon.
