ALERT: Data Breach Exposes 20 Million Accounts at Mixcloud

December 4, 2019

Hi Guys,

A data breach at Mixcloud, an audio streaming platform, has left more than 20 million user accounts exposed. The data is currently on sale on the Dark Web and a seller has supplied a part of the leaked data to TechCrunch who verified it was legitimate.

Please take the following actions if you have ever used Mixcloud:

1. Change your password right away and do never use the same password twice (see my article on credential stuffing below)

2. Send an email to Mixcloud and let them know that you are aware of the breach and ask them to provide you with Identity protection and credit Monitoring services.

Please let me know if you need any help in relation to this.
