A few hours ago Google revealed that its G Suite platform mistakenly stored passwords of some of its users on internal servers in plaintext for 14 years because of a bug in the password recovery feature.
This essentially means that if you are using G Suite for business your passwords were not stored in a secure way and they could have been accessed and used without your permission.
While Google says the unsecured passwords were not stored on the open Internet they are now forcing all G Suite users to change their passwords immediately.
What can you do?
If you are a G Suite user you need to change your password right away. Do it right now.
If you manage other G Suite user accounts you need to change those passwords as well
Please see below a link to our password guide which will help you choose a strong password.
