Hello everyone,

Happy Monday 🙂 I hope you had a fantastic weekend. I also hope that you’re all set for a brilliant week ahead. Also, a special thank you to the users of the Incognito application who have been very kind in leaving us so many fabulous reviews we have received over the past couple of weeks. We can already see ourselves improving in the rankings, and it’s down to you, your good and positive feedback about your experience with the incognito application, and the privacy care team.

As you can see in the application, we have adjusted the privacy care. Please do not hesitate to download the privacy care guide, which gives you tips and tricks on securing your digital footprint. We’ve also updated you on contacting the privacy care team to talk to an expert.

Also, if you don’t have any money and cannot afford to pay for detailed privacy care assistance, we will still provide this to you free of charge. If you can afford to pay, you pay, and then we can help somebody who cannot pay. We are all here to support each other on this adventure, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you need anything. Okay, let’s start with what you need to know at the beginning of your week.

Delete Your Info From the Internet.
DeleteMe is an excellent service that helps you remove your personal information from the Internet. We don’t usually promote services, but this is a good system. They have a free version, but they also have a subscriber version as well. Here is an excellent article from ZDNet explaining the service. They also offer a 25% discount by applying the coupon code in the article. We do not benefit from promoting applications or services, etc.

How to protect your social media accounts
Imagine one day, you open your favourite social media application, and it says your password is wrong. While you were sleeping, somebody accessed your account and blocked you out. Once this happens, and it happens every day of the week to millions of people, it isn’t easy to gain access again. And even if you gain access again, it can take a long time. In the meantime, the attacker has full access to your account, all your contacts, and all of your personal information. They can even have conversations on your behalf. Do not fall victim to this. Make sure you’re using a strong password, and make sure that you’re using multifactor authentication or verification. You can ask us for advice about anything. Also, this is a good article from McAfee giving further advice.

By default, Google can track everywhere you go, but with a few simple tweaks to how you can use Google Maps, you can ensure that it is secure. The article advises enabling incognito mode, turning off location history, and deleting past activities.

Scam warning
Here is a great article detailing three commonly used scams at the moment. The scammers are getting more efficient and more organised in their approach. They send millions of scam messages every minute of every day, hoping that a tiny percentage of people are foolish enough to be tricked. The best way to protect yourself against scams is to educate yourself. Here is a great article 3 of the big scams circulating the world. You can ask us as well 🙂

Do Not Install These Apps
Here is an article from Zak Doffman from Forbes, advising you on applications you do not want to install on your Android phone. This article focuses mainly on bogus VPN applications. Please be careful about installing a VPN. If it is a free VPN, do not use it, as there is no such thing as a free lunch. Conversely, if the VPN is overpriced, they are just price gouging you and may have a different interest than yours. Cyber Attacks Against Business.
This article explains how cyber attacks have cost British businesses $55 billion in the past five years. Cybercriminals are launching new unsophisticated attacks against your business every day of the week. They are getting more advanced by the second, leveraging artificial intelligence, synthetic voice and video clones. If you need any advice, don’t hesitate to contact us.
