Follow the step-by-step guide below to hide, locate, and unhide photos on your Android device:
Hiding Photos:
- Open the Gallery app on your Android device.
- Navigate to the photos you want to hide.
- Tap and hold the photo until the menu pops up.
- Select the Move to Private option.
Locating and Viewing Hidden Photos:
- Open the Gallery app on your Android device.
- Tap on the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open the menu.
- Select Private or Secure Folder. (You may be asked to authenticate using your fingerprint, pin, or password).
- You will then see your hidden photos.
Unhiding Photos:
- Navigate to your private or secure folder following the steps above.
- Tap and hold the photo you wish to unhide until the menu pops up.
- Select Move Out of Private or Move Out of Secure Folder.
