Basically, the FBI is saying that sending text messages is not secure in light of the recent salt typhoon attack. They recommend that you send messages using encrypted platforms such as WhatsApp and Signal to minimise the chances of interception by hackers.
This $3,000 Android Trojan Targeting Banks and Cryptocurrency Exchanges
Here’s a story showing you how hackers are renting out malware capable of draining your bank account. This particular malware is rented by hackers to other hackers for $3000 a month, and it’s capable of attacking 77 banking institutions. Hacking is big business! Be careful about where you install your applications. Always check the permissions that you give to applications. One of the biggest flags is if the application looks for accessibility options.

Here is an article on wired.com about a new term called ‘Snackfished’. It’s a take on catfished, but it refers to food rather than people. It’s quite funny, actually, but there is also a dark undertone. You can’t believe what you see anymore online.
