Hi guys,

Apple has just rolled out security updates for iOS, iPad, macOS, and Safari to address a zero-day flaw that it said has been actively exploited in the wild. Xinru Chi of Pangu Lab and Ned Williamson of Google Project Zero were credited with finding the security hole that allows a rogue app to execute arbitrary code with the highest privileges, essentially allowing them to take over your device.

Please update and make sure you are running the following versions:

  • iOS 16.3.1
  • iPad 16.3.1
  • macOS Ventura 13.2.1
  • Safari 16.3.1

Also, Apple devices are not as secure as you think. They fixed ten zero-day exploits in 2022, nine of which were actively exploited by attackers. In fairness to them, they fix these issues very fast, so make sure you are always running the latest versions.

Let me know if you need help with this or anything else.

All the best,

Max
