Have you ever played Words with Friends or Draw Something? If you have you need to change your password urgently as a hacker from Pakistan has now claimed to have hacked the popular mobile social game company Zynga.
Zynga is one of the world’s most successful social game developers with a collection of hit online games—including FarmVille, Words With Friends, Zynga Poker, Mafia Wars, and Café World—with over a billion players worldwide.
Zynga admitted to the breach and are currently investigating. In the meantime if you have ever played any of their games I urge you to do the following:
Change your password right away and do never use the same password twice (see my article on credential stuffing below) Send an email to Zynga and let them know that you are aware of the breach and ask them to provide you with Identity protection and credit Monitoring services.
