Hi guys,

I hope all is well with you 🙂

Google is rolling out an emergency Chrome update that includes a fix for an actively exploited high-severity zero-day flaw that can allow remote attackers to take over a vulnerable system completely. Big thanks to security researchers Ashley Shen and Christian Resell of Google Threat Analysis Group, who discovered the bug, and also fair play to Google for fixing it so quickly.

Please update Chrome to version 104.0.5112.101 for Windows, Mac, and Linux by following these steps:

  • Open Chrome
  • At the top right, click More
  • Click Update Google Chrome. Important: If you can’t find this button, you’re on the latest version
  • Click Relaunch

If you use Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi, please also ensure you are running the latest versions. It might take a few days for the latest updates to be released, so keep your eyes open.

All the best, and as always, let me know if you need anything.

Cheers,

Max Roberts,
