Have you ever stayed in a Best Western hotel or with one of their partners?
It has just been revealed that they recently leaked over 179 GB of sensitive travel information on thousands of travellers with many of those affected being US Government employees.
The crazy thing is that this information was not gained through hacking or anything like that. The database was completely unsecured and unencrypted sitting on the Internet for anyone to see.
If you ever stayed in a Best Western hotel or with one of their partners please write to them to tell them you are aware of the recent data leak and ask them to tell you exactly what data base been leaked. Also, ask them to provide you with Credit and Identity protection services.
