Last week, Google introduced its new data safety section for the Play Store, stating that Android application developers have to fully disclose their data collection, sharing, and safety practices.
With access to this new information, the team from CyberNews carried out an explosive investigation into the world’s most downloaded FREE anti-virus tools. The results are shocking in how some of these tools track you as you use the app, and in some cases, they even link to malicious websites. Some of the tools you are using to keep you safe are actually tracking you and can seriously compromise your privacy. You can read the full report HERE, but in a nutshell, if you have one of these three tools installed, get rid of it immediately:
- Nova Security – Virus Cleaner
- Fancy Booster – Cleaner, Antivirus & Speed Up
- Antivirus, Virus Cleaner, Booster – Fancy Security
Wishing you a fantastic rest of your day 🙂
All the best,
Incognito Privacy Care Team.
