Researchers at Dr Web antivirus have recently revealed a set of five Android adware apps that pretend to be tools but instead spam their users with ads, generating revenue for the developers. These apps have nearly two million downloads between them. We have had several users contact us as their phones have crashed because they are being spammed by adverts, so the ads are annoying and can also crash your phone. Please check your phone, and if you have any of these installed, remove them immediately. Also, you should reboot your phone after you remove them.
