Hi Guys,
We’ve just received reports that hackers have breached Air France and KLM Flying Blue customers’ accounts. In the statement, they confirmed that hackers had accessed personal information after the accounts were breached.
“Our security operations teams have detected suspicious behaviour by an unauthorized entity in relation to your account. We have immediately implemented corrective action to prevent further exposure of your data,” the statement says.
KLM’s official Twitter account confirmed the attack but told customers that no air miles were accessed. Both companies have confirmed that no customer passport or credit card information has been exposed.
What we do know for sure is that, at a minimum, the following information has been accessed:
- Customer names
- Email addresses
- Phone number
- Recent transaction
- Miles balance.
If you are an Airfrance or KLM customer:
- Please go and change your password immediately.
- Contact both companies and ask them to provide you with free identity theft monitoring services.
Please pass this message on to anyone you know who might be affected by this.
All the best,
Max Roberts,
