Hi Guys

Have you ever used the online booking service Sonicbids?

Sonicbids – 751,700 breached accounts
In December 2019, the booking website Sonicbids suffered a data breach which they attributed to “a data privacy event involving our third-party cloud hosting services”. The breach contained 752k user records including names and usernames, email addresses and passwords stored as PBKDF2 hashes. The data was provided to Incognito by HIBP via breachbase.pw.

Please take the following actions if you have ever used Sonicbids:

  • Change your password right away and never use the same password twice (see my article on credential stuffing below)
  • Send an email to them and let them know that you are aware of the breach and ask them to provide you with Identity protection and credit Monitoring services.

Please let me know if you need any help in relation to this or with anything else.
